The Ikonoskop A-Cam SP-16 is a compact, lightweight Super 16 mm film camera designed for portability and simplicity. Built with a solid machined-aluminium body and a C-mount lens system, it uses 100-ft daylight-loading film spools and offers a range of frame rates up to around 37 fps. Its 160° shutter and Super 16 frame deliver the classic textured film look in a very small package.
Because it’s non-reflex, framing is done through a side viewfinder rather than through-the-lens, which makes it less precise than larger professional reflex cameras. Still, the A-Cam SP-16 is valued as a nimble and reliable option for handheld work, experimental filmmaking, travel shoots, and as a compact B-camera for anyone seeking the aesthetic of real 16mm film.
You can use the Camera with our other C-Mount Lenses, but due to its fixed 9mm viewfinder, you cannot guarantee framing.
