The Lindsey Optics Brilliant² Rota Pol is a professional rotating polarising system available in both 4" x 5.65" and 6" x 6", designed for our LMB matteboxes.
Each version houses a Brilliant-Pol Circular Polariser within a precision-machined, all-aluminium geared frame, allowing smooth and accurate rotation. The filter can be adjusted by hand or via a motor mounted to the handle for remote control operation — ideal for gimbal, crane, or studio setups.
The filter is manufactured from Schott B270 “water white” optical glass and features a broadband anti-reflection coating for maximum optical performance with minimal colour shift. It effectively reduces reflections on glass, water, and polished surfaces, deepens blue skies, and enhances overall colour saturation.
Unlike traditional tray-mounted polarisers, the Rota Pol system is particularly well suited to wide-angle lenses and large zooms, helping to minimise vignetting while maintaining even polarisation across the frame.
